As we're now in the height of the wedding season, finding time between shoots and editing to share some blog posts can be a little tricky. Even though I'm super-busy I plan to do my best for you, and keep sharing as many of my shoots as possible.
Today I want to show you all Hannah and Pete's pre-wedding shoot at Birmingham Botanical Gardens from back in June. They won't be exchanging their vows until next summer, but both of them liked the idea of having their pre-shoot as early as possible. We arranged to meet up at the Gardens to chat about their wedding plans and have a practice in front of the camera. Hannah is a keen gardener, so the Gardens were the perfect choice. We discussed their music options for the day, and teased Pete about the possibility of him walking down the aisle to a Bryan Adams track. I'm looking forward to finding out what the final musical choice for the bridal entrance will be.
Hannah shared a little of her's and Pete's story with me.
"Pete proposed driving around Coventry ring road! It is more romantic than it sounds as it was both of us realising we wanted to be together, forever. To add to the romance he treated me to a meal at the Harvester (with free salad and a discount voucher!)"
"I'm most looking forwards to marrying the man I love, that loves me for who I truly am, and listening to Bryan Adams as I walk down the aisle."
I've said it time and time again: how much of an advantage a pre-wedding shoot is. In Hannah's words:
"We had a fabulous experience meeting Phil and having our photos taken in the beautiful Botanical Gardens. He made us feel very relaxed and we can't wait for our wedding day next year!"
