City centre pre-wedding shoot around Brindley Place canals, Birmingham
November 2017 Filed in: Pre-wedding Shoots
Last weekend Tina and Damien married during a wonderful and humourous (thanks to their great registrar) ceremony at Austin Court in Birmingham city centre. I recently sent their preview gallery to them, and the rest of their wedding day photos have been added to my editing schedule, ready for me to start working on in a few weeks’ time.
Damien and Tina are currently enjoying their honeymoon together, and spending their first few days as husband and wife. Being as their wedding day is now a blur of lovely memories, I thought I'd share a small selection of photos from their pre-wedding shoot I photographed back in June prior to their wedding day.
Austin Court is in the heart of Birmingham city centre, just a stone's throw from Brindley Place, and situated right beside the canal. After we'd visited their ceremony room, and discussed their wedding day plans, we headed out into the summer sunshine and took a stroll along the canal-side to practice in front of the camera. As a wedding photographer I get to shoot in some amazing rural venues, with lovely gardens, but I always find it fun to do something a little different, and photograph couples in an urban setting instead.
Birmingham looked great in the sunshine, with the light reflecting off the water in the canal. Damien also did admirably considering he was recovering from a knee operation, and was not long off crutches. Sorry about the flight of stairs we ended up having to climb, Damien!
Whilst the happy couple are undoubtable sipping cocktails and enjoying some autumn sunshine, you can enjoy a few photos below from their pre-wedding shoot.
