Barn ceremony weddign day at Packington Moor
October 2015 Filed in: Weddings
Last weekend saw Claire and Leon celebrate their very special wedding. The weather was wonderful with the sun shining down on them all day long.
The day began at Packington Moor
where Leon, and a few family and friends prepared some last touches for the venue. From there I headed to the bridal suite at the regal Swinfen Hall Hotel
, where I met Claire and her bridesmaids Sue and Lou to capture their preparations. Michelle from The Perfect Make Up
had already started making the girls look even more glamorous, and Liane from Professional Wedding Hair
weaved her magic, whilst champagne was sipped and the beautiful sun shone through the windows. It was then time to head back to Packington Moor, where the guests had already arrived and were enjoying the weather in the courtyard, all whilst listening to beautiful live music played by the Nero String Quartet
The music continued to play and Claire looked stunning and as she processed up the aisle to where her future husband Leon was waiting. After a lovely ceremony amongst their friends and family, congratulations and celebratory drinks were shared in the courtyard. I then whisked the couple off for a few shots in the pretty gardens, before guests came to join us for some formal photos.
Later, once the evening party had arrived, it was time for Claire and Leon to cut their amazing cake, and head to the dance floor, for their first dance as husband and wife. They danced to 'Iris' by The Goo Goo Dolls, played live by The Suits
, who also played a great set whilst everyone celebrated and partied the night away.
A special mention to Alex and Dan the best men, for their amazing speech. Also to Sue and Lou the bridesmaids, who I enjoyed sharing a giggle or two with.
