Rural and wonderful pre-wedding shoot in Codsall Wood
June 2017 Filed in: Pre-wedding Shoots
From all the plans Mel and Laura shared about their wedding day with me, I'm very confident it will be a particularly special one. A summer outdoor ceremony, in the middle of a meadow, next to a beautiful lake, with a teepee, and lots of entertainment. What's not to like?
We recently met at Laura's grandparent's amazing house, to take some photos in their beautiful garden, before heading to the aforementioned stunning meadow where Mel and Laura will be exchanging their vows.
Here's a few words from the lovely couple as well as some photos from a very fun pre-wedding shoot.
"After meeting in 2008, Laura finally plucked up the courage in February 2016 to ask me to marry her. It was done in the most fitting and memorable way, in front of friends and family. After a graduation ceremony, we all gathered for a drink and a chance to wind down which then turned into a well rehearsed proposal. We have thoroughly enjoyed the engagement period, busy planning and preparing our wedding for July 2017."
"We're trying to make our wedding as fun filled and enjoyable for not only ourselves but all our guests too. The part we're looking forward to most is that we have some 1940's style singers who will be doing a couple of sets for us and our guests to enjoy."
"Laura's nan, Kath, joined us on a couple of photos on the pre-wedding shoot. She kindly let us pose in her back garden for some of the photos."
"We both absolutely loved the pre-wedding shoot! We didn't really know what to expect as it's not something that either of us have done before. However, from the minute we met with Phil we knew that we were in safe hands. He offered us some good advice on how to feel comfortable in front of the camera and in turn we have received some amazing photos and we couldn't more pleased with them or thank him enough."
