A Christmas home natural family photoshoot in Birmingham

You may have already read my previous blog post
about winter family photos shoots; about how it’s not just the summer that’s suitable for capturing memories of your family. Spring, autumn and winter can be perfect too.
Now that we’re well into December, there’s decorations and trees springing up everywhere, and I’ve heard my first festive song on the radio, I think it’s easily safe enough to use the ‘Christmas’ word.
We’ve not yet got our tree down from the loft; partly down to the fact we’re still busy with the end of the wedding season, but it won’t be too long as we’re entertaining some of the Dignum family at our house this year. My lovely mother-in-law Margaret and sister-in-law Helen will be joining us, and Toby is looking forward to cooking Christmas dinner for us all.
It was around this time last year that I knocked on the Palini family’s door, and introduced myself to little Maeve and Ailbhe, before their time in front of my camera for their winter family photo shoot. It was cold outside, so we spent our time together in the Palini’s beautiful home.
I followed the family as they went about their day, capturing relaxed photos of them reading together, played games and puzzles, a trip around the kitchen on a scooter, and relaxing in each others’ company.
Scroll down to see some of the fun we got up to.
