A LOL-fest pre-wedding photo shoot in Highbury Park, Birmingham
February 2020 Filed in: Pre-wedding Shoots
If you visit our blog regularly you'll have already enjoyed photos from Dan and Sarah's wedding day
at Redhouse Barn a little while ago. You'll also probably know that every couple get's a free pre-wedding photo shoot and meet up with us. That means we have a lot of pre-shoots throughout the year, and we don't always have the time to add them all to the blog.
Dan and Sarah's pre-shoot back in April last year was a particularly lovely and fun one, so I really wanted to find the time to share it. The main thing I remember thinking after we said goodbye following their photo shoot was "I bet their jaws are aching from all that laughter". I'm not sure they stopped to breath, but what I do know is that it's a very lovely thing to witness when a couple makes each other giggle that much. Partners and friends all rolled into one.
Toby and I met up in one of Toby's favourite places… a pub. It was one local to Sarah and Dan, just walking distance from their home. After a lengthy chat, and a quick pint, we headed over the road to Highbury Park for their chance to get some 'in front of the camera' practice in.
This mainly consisted of the giggling I've mentioned, as well as registering their height difference and Sarah attempting to balance on a log, to balance out their heights. The shoot also regularly consisted of Dan's tongue (yes you read that right), as well as a small duck and goose invasion, and a search for Sarah’s secret garden. I promise I’m not making any of this stuff up.
I’ll leave you with a small handful of photos from the shoot, and with a challenge too; I challenge you not to have a big grin on your face as you look at how much this lovely couple laughed together. Go on, try, I bet you can’t!
